For OCE researchers, organizations are entities in permanent redefinition; they must therefore be continually questioned, in particular to nourish the awareness and reflexivity of those who can influence their destinies. The aim is to shed light on the dynamics of actors and the weight of instruments at work, to facilitate awareness and identify possibilities for change. Our research focuses on deconstructing dominant representations, analyzing power mechanisms, and recognizing individual experiences and singular cases. It also aims to develop a critical analysis of contemporary production ethos centered on profit, systematic evaluation and measurement. One of the preferred orientations is to analyze the repercussions of organizational modernization on individual and collective experiences and identities at work. Another is to explore alternatives to contemporary management principles and practices that promote development and emancipation, and enable a wider range of interests to be taken into account.
