Most of the conversations about the year 2020 cover one theme: Covid-19. Living through 2020 and talking about 2020 have mostly been about understanding the impact of the covid pandemic in our lives, which was unfolded in the most diverse ways. The pandemic has changed how we work, study, eat, walk in the streets, shop for groceries, do sports, and so on. We started to rethink and talk not only about the virus but also markets, bodies, spaces, emotions, time, work, and leisure. In this workshop, we will gather 12 international scholars from different disciplines to present, discuss, and engage in critical and relevant discussions regarding some of the key themes covering the impact of covid in our lives.
